Description	3-bromodibenzo[b,d]thiophene can be obtained by reduction of dibenzothiophene 5,5-dioxide by reaction with excess lithium aluminium hydride in ether or tetrahydrofuran, and its derivatives can be used in the preparation of luminescent compounds, luminescent layer materials, organic electroluminescent devices and electronic devices.
Uses	3-bromodibenzo[b,d]thiophene is used as the OLED intermediate materials and pharmaceutical intermediates, it is an important organic intermediate to synthetize substituted dibenzo[b,d]thiophene products.
